STEM 3D Print Training Courses

Since 2014, DTSL has been selling 3D printers and 3D scanners, and to date, we have sold over a thousand 3D devices and trained over two thousand students and teachers. Through comprehensive and age-appropriate 3D printing design tools for elementary school students, we utilize 3D printing to create various models as specified by instructors. Our courses aim to train students in 3D concepts and logical thinking, enhancing their understanding and mastery of three-dimensional space and computer-aided modeling. Students are empowered to design, create, and assemble different projects to solve real-life problems.

 

Through DTSL's 3D printing training courses, students gain a solid foundation in 3D modeling, professional knowledge, and relevant skills specific to 3D printing. It is expected that students complete all assigned projects within the classroom. Upon completion of the course, students should be able to independently utilize all 3D modeling tools in the software to design and improve their own 3D model creations.

Courses Introduction

The course is divided into two parts: Compulsory and Elective Courses.

 

Compulsory courses include:

  • Introduction, demonstrations, and hands-on experience in 3D printing
  • Basic operations of 3D modeling software
  • Fundamental project using 3D modeling software: Keychain design

 

Elective courses include:

  • Various practical and everyday-life design tutorials using different 3D modeling software, such as pen holders, chairs, animal characters, robot characters, shelves, etc
  • Introduction, demonstrations, and hands-on experience in 3D scanning
  • Advanced design projects integrating 3D modeling software and 3D scanning, such as personalized chess pieces, phone stands with human figures, etc
  • Advanced design projects for students' independent creative work

 

Additionally, the selection of topics for these projects can be tailored based on the number of participants, grade level, and experience, providing the most suitable and flexible course options.
