Refreshment of Guinness World's Record, by DTSL and a thousand students' creativity

28th November 2015 - Hong Kong, Guinness World's Record was refreshed by DTSL and the creativity of thousand students which also relieves the water shortage in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The event was co-organized by DTSL, Makers Empire, Association of I.T. Leaders in Education (AiTLE) and Baptist Rainbow Primary School (BRPS) on November 28, 2015, at BRPS. Over 50 schools including kindergartens, primary, secondary and special schools had participated in this event.

This activity aimed to teach students the grave importance of water to our society and how advancing 3D printing technology can help us with our internationally spreading clean water crisis. The 'Largest Amount of Individuals to Attend a Single Venue Software Course' record had almost been doubled. The course prepared by DTSL and Makers Empire obtained a great success and brought in 914 students. Subsequently, students participated in the design process of the water filter which were sent to Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
