HONG KONG, 25 Jan 2014 - Association of I.T. Leaders in Education (AiTLE) has cooperated with DTSL to organize the Creative 3D Printing Room Visit for K12 teachers in HK. This event was held on 25 Jan at Baptist Rainbow Primary School and attracted more than 30 primary and secondary school teachers to attend.
During this event, the principal of Baptist Rainbow School – Mr. Chu Tsz Wing has pointed out that creativity is the most critical success factor for Hong Kong to maintain its competitiveness in the future. By incorporating 3D printing into the teaching curriculum, students can inspire their imagination and creativity by designing their own 3D models. Besides, they can be better prepared with the latest technologies for their future study and career.
Being the first 3D printing room setup in HK education sector, Rainbow 3D Printing Room is established to foster the creativity and hands-on ability for the students. As the solution provider of this 3D print room, DTSL provides end-to-end support and comprehensive consultation services to teachers and students at Rainbow Primary School. Students will have chance to design their own 3D models and realize them into real objects by using 3D printers. Teachers can also create their own customizable teaching tools by using 3D printing technology. Most visitors in this event have given positive feedbacks for this print room and they have shown great interests in DTSL’s 3D Printing Solution.
